Principal Responsibilities

Create content for the Blue Inc and Officers Club website blogs.

Manage the Blue Inc and Officers club social media presence.

Assist with any other areas of web content as required.

Maintain appropriate style and tone of communication through all content.

Context

BlueInc and Officers Club have identified major opportunities in UK and Overseas Internet retail marketplaces, which, if successfully exploited, will deliver significant new revenues to the business.

To achieve these goals, good positioning in the worlds search engines and successful customer and brand communications are key.

The role of the Website content administrator is to create all social media, blog and promotional text content for the Blue Inc and Officers Club websites.

The website content administrator works as part of the ecommerce team located at the HQ in Walthamstow, London.

Skills required

Strong English language skills

HTML & CSS edditing and creation

Good typing and general computer software skills: Microsoft Office

good awareness of the Internet and general Internet technologies.

Optional skills: French, German, Russian language skills

Essential Functions

SEO:

Liaise with our SEO consultants to ensure required SEO content is created and made live to requirements and on time.

Incorporate good SEO practice into the creation of all website content.

Blog & Social media:

Create and submit daily posts to the Blue Inc and Officers club blogs.

Communicate new products, deals, promotional activity, store activities, and other business activity to customers via the blog and social media.

Other site content:

Suggest improvements for site content.

Assist the product merchandiser with the creation of product descriptions.

Write content for competitions and other website promotional activity.
