Company History

The Company was founded back in 1912 originally trading as A. Levy and Son in East London. In 1968 the fascia Mr Byrite was established. Between 1997 and 2002 the stores were re- branded Blue Inc offering a young fashion menswear range. Following the acquisition of the business in 2006 by “Marlow Retail”, founded by Steven Cohen our CEO, Blue Inc is rapidly expanding its chain of stores across the UK and currently has 205 stores.

Key Mile Stones

1912		Founded in East London as A. Levy and Son.
1997- 2002		Rebranded and re-launched as Blue Inc.
2006		Acquired by Marlow Retail founded by our CEO Steven Cohen.
2007		Development of our new store concept.
2008		“Club 18-30” co-sponsorship deal.
2009		Launch of Blue Inc website
2010		Launch of Blue Inc Woman.
2011		100th store opened.
2012		200th store opened.
2012		International Franchising launched into new international markets.
